Shima Vasseghi's practice focuses on a wide range of business and commercial litigation matters, representing and advising clients in areas including contracts, employment, construction, and real estate.
Shima received her JD from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2017, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board and represented UC Davis in numerous national competitions. During law school Shima also served as a certified student attorney in a year-long Family Protection Clinic and earned a Public Service Law Certificate.
Prior to joining Miller Morton, Shima clerked at a Sacramento law firm, where she focused on fraud and employment retaliation matters. Her prior experience also includes providing legal services to low-income families in the San Francisco area on housing matters and landlord-tenant disputes.
