Miller Morton Adds Attorney Roger Liu to Established Construction Practice

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Apr. 30, 2015 – Miller, Morton, Caillat & Nevis, LLP adds construction attorney Roger Liu as of counsel to its San Jose and Newport Beach offices. Liu joins the firm from Leonidou & Rosin in Mountain View, Calif., where he was a shareholder and construction attorney.

A seasoned transactional and litigation attorney, Liu represents owners, developers and contractors in a wide variety of construction matters. His transactional experience includes contract review and negotiations, public contracting, bidding and requests for proposals, bid protests and project documentation. On the litigation side, Liu handles payment disputes; contract and administrative claims, including scope of work changes, impact and delay assessments; mechanic's lien, stop payment notices and bond claims; construction defect and design errors and omissions claims; and insurance coverage matters.
Actively involved in his industries, Liu is a member of the Legal Advisory Committee of the Associated General Contractors of California, as well as the Santa Clara County Bar Association. He earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law (2001) and his B.A. from Stanford University (1996). Liu also attended Bellarmine College Preparatory (1992).
