Rosanna Fristed represents contractors, property owners, developers, real estate investors, and other entities and individuals in a wide variety of construction, business, and real estate disputes. Her experience includes construction defect claims; defense of design errors and omissions claims; contract claims; mechanic's lien and stop payment notices; wrongful termination; and wage-and-hour claims. Broadening her practice and construction-industry knowledge, Rosanna is actively involved with the Legal Advisory Committee for the Associated General Contractors of California, which serves as an educational forum on new cases and proposed legislation and regulations affecting the construction industry and construction attorneys. Rosanna also has extensive experience working with professional property managers, counseling them through a wide variety of legal and business issues, including landlord/tenant disputes. Rosanna’s approach to litigation emphasizes helping clients achieve cost-effective outcomes throughout litigation, including collaboration with adverse parties to resolve their construction and business disputes.
Rosanna's practice also includes Department of Veterans Affairs claims, applications for the review of discharges from the Armed Forces of the United States, and petitions for relief under Penal Code sections 1170.9 and 1203.4. She provides these services on a pro-bono basis to low income veterans in Orange County. Rosanna also volunteers as an editor for the State Bar's Real Property Journal.
